Satellite Imagery: Hurricane Michael Aftermath in Panama City and Tyndall AFB

October 12, 2018 By GISuser

DigitalGlobe’s WorldView-1 satellite collected new imagery on October 11th of Panama City and Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB), Florida.

Some of the imagery of Tyndall AFB clearly shows the power of the hurricane—stripping off roofs, tossing planes around and destroying property all throughout the region. Note that DigitalGlobe’s WorldView-1 satellite only collects panchromatic (black & white) imagery.
