How to blog? Tips for aspiring bloggers

June 10, 2021 By Editor

The question of blogging has been investigated by Karen J. Frost, the professional writer.

In this article, I decided to share with you some useful tips on how to blog properly that beginners need.

Probably every beginner blogger sometimes faces such a condition when he or she starts to doubt the blog, his or her posts, the necessity and correctness of his or her choices.

When such moments occur, the performance of the blogger falls heavily, as a consequence of which it is very difficult to write posts. To avoid such a situation, I will try to give you some very useful tips to motivate you and set you up for proper blogging.

How to blog properly?

  1. Sandbox

Never get discouraged or give up! In blogging, success doesn’t come right away. The first months your blog is in the so-called “sandbox”, there is no confidence in it from search engines, it does not allow you to get visitors from search engines. Over time, these restrictions will disappear, and gradually, subject to a good filling of the blog with useful content, search traffic will appear. Create an interesting blog, and then people themselves will read it and become your subscribers.

  1. Competition

Don’t be afraid to create a blog on a competitive topic! If there are no competitors, it means that nobody is interested in this topic, and it is unlikely you will get huge traffic. Remember: competition is the engine of progress, you can’t do without it!

  1. Plagiarism

Never copy posts from other blogs. You can choose the subject of your future posts by reading other blogs, but you shouldn’t rewrite these articles in your own words.

Write unique and optimized posts. Choose the right keywords.

  1. Experience.

A blog about what you can do, what you’ve experienced, and what you’ve been through. Simply put, about your successes, accomplishments, or mistakes. You can also write your opinion about something, your plans.

You should not teach others what you have not yet learned! You should not advise without having tested it on yourself. Simply put, if you are good at writing essays, you can create a blog where you share useful essay writing tips or help you choose research paper helper.

  1. Relevance

Try to fill your blog with interesting, useful, and, preferably, “forever” posts. I.e. posts that will be useful forever. If the information in your posts is out of date, update them promptly. Improve your writing skills.

If you need interesting blogging ideas, you can find them at pinterest.com

  1. Advertising

You shouldn’t put only advertising posts with affiliate links on your blog. But that does not mean that you should not make money with the help of affiliate links. You just need to try to make the most interesting and maximally useful for readers: a minimum of advertising, a maximum of interesting content. You may also need advertising your blog. It is best placed on the pages of worthy bloggers in YouTube or other reputable resources.

  1. Communication

Communicate with your readers. Try to answer all letters and comments. This will help you to become a lively and responsive person in their eyes. If you have many, schedule it for a certain period.

  1. You must have an opinion.

Don’t be afraid to write posts. If you think your post is right (e.g., your opinion), then don’t be afraid to publish it. Your posts should evoke emotion. Even if your opinion is not like everyone else’s and won’t be liked by the majority. Sometimes this approach can make you more popular. Remember: popular people have a lot of not only fans but also haters!

  1. Trolling

Don’t take offensive comments personally, just delete and forget about them. If the person is constantly harassing you, blacklist them. However, don’t remove some comments that contradict your posts. Unless, of course, they are on-topic. The argument is interesting. Do not be afraid to argue!

  1. Communicating

Don’t be afraid to communicate with other bloggers, if you can’t find answers to some questions, ask them for help. If there are a lot of questions, you can try to interview them. This will increase interest in your blog from readers.

Useful tips for blogging

  1. read-only what you need to read

Sometimes we start to abuse reading various blogs. There are some bloggers, reading which, the motivation disappears completely. They write that the topic is hopeless, they begin to reproach someone, in general, you read, and one negative thing from them. It is not worth it to read such blogs. If you accidentally fall on them, do not take these posts seriously.

You shouldn’t spend very much time reading other blogs, but rather spend more time on your own. If you write all the time, concentrate on creating your blog, you will have a better chance to be different from the others.

  1. Participate in contests

Of course, this advice does not apply to such techniques of blog promotion as commenting on forums and participating in various contests. At the initial stage, they are necessary, and you should not neglect them.

Organize contests and promotions on your blogs, it’s a great method of blog promotion!

That is all for today, now you know how to blog properly. I hope that everyone will find something useful for themselves in this article.

Love your blog – it is an endless source of invaluable experience, a tool for self-development!
