Fort Collins, Colo. April 26, 2016 — Gretchen Peterson’s latest book release, City Maps: A Coloring Book for Adults, is making a strong impression among book buyers. With over 40 bird’s-eye view maps, City Maps: A Coloring Book for Adults features such close-up locations as the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, the Grand Canal in Venice, and Central Park in New York City. It also includes surprising and beautiful locations to discover such as the Lotus Temple in New Delhi and Bidhannagar in Kolkata.

Peterson says, “I’m excited about this because normally I make maps that are more scientific, regulatory, or otherwise government oriented but this is a collection of maps for everyone. And what’s more, everyone can color them just the way they want to.”

It includes 94 pages, with 44 maps printed on one side of each page. Many of the maps exhibit high levels of intricacy to appeal to the serious coloring aficionado while some have larger spaces to color. Coloring pencils or thin pens are highly recommended.

City Maps: A Coloring Book for Adults is perfect for travelers, design fans, map lovers, classrooms, and mindfulness enthusiasts. It is available at Amazon here, for distribution to the trade through Ingram, and direct to the customer through all major online outlets.
