Time for another LBS industry news roundup… this one for the week of August 1, 2012 – enjoy!
Hello Mobile Enthusiast… Welcome to another mobile, location technology news update from LBSzone – FYI, did you know that LBSzone was established 9 years ago almost to the day?? Wow… crazy, where has the time gone? I’ve been busy since returning from San Diego late last Friday night as I’ve been busy going over my show notes, digital media, handouts, videos and more. Keeping tabs of everything is a little challenging but you should be able to find everything that I’ve shared with these handy resources: Most news, features and PR announced from the show can be found in this ESRIUC archive; I’ve shared about 500 photos from the conference, Tweetup, DevMeetUp, Lightning Talks, and party in Balboa Park on this Flickr; Videos are still being processed and uploaded to our GISuserTV YouTube Channel; Random blog posts and comments can be found on my AnyGeo blog under the esriuc category; and a complete archive of Tweets I shared on twitter from San Diego are here for @GISuser and for my @gletham streams. A couple of my favorite things that you should catch include my intro video shot in the boardroom at the Hilton Gaslamp and some Highlights, 10 key moments, and the closing Q and A. You job seekers be sure to catch the Video of the Job Board that I grabbed and if you’re wondering what was in that ever popular ESRIUC Swag bag you might enjoy my Un-Bagging video. ESRIUC is THE location technology event of the year (in America) and no surprise that mobile technology and mobile app development was, well, HUGE at this year’s conference! You developers are in huge demand and there’s a TON of opportunity for you. Many enterprise users are just now jumping on board and most of them are needing help… think opportunity!
