Timmons Group Completes Asset Management Systems Implementations for Multiple Clients

December 1, 2015 By GISuser

Richmond, VA – December 1, 2015 – Timmons Group, a leading provider of geospatial solutions, recently completed four Cityworks Asset Management Systems implementations for clients nationwide.

Cityworks is a comprehensive software that can be leveraged by localities to collect and manage infrastructure assets, manage permits and building inspections, and assist in code enforcement.  This solution, once integrated with any locality’s current GIS, can be utilized to manage the inspection, monitoring, and condition assessments for effective utilities, permitting, code enforcement, and maintenance throughout the municipality or utility district.

Timmons Group completed the configuration, implementation, and training for the Cityworks software for the following four localities: Otay Water District in California; City of Alpharetta, GA; City of Weston, FL, and City of Fayetteville, NC. These localities offer a mix of services that include numerous departments that make up their core business and various interfaces with enterprise systems. What these localities have in common is leveraging Esri GIS as their asset repository and Cityworks as their foundation asset management system.

“Every City, Town, or County has assets and Cityworks is a tool that all localities should leverage for the maintenance of those assets,” said Ron Butcher, Timmons Group’s Asset Management Practice Leader. “We provide the know-how to educate, configure to any client specific needs, and implement solutions that will increase efficiencies, not just for right now, but for the future.”

Timmons Group’s Asset Management division is a Cityworks’ Platinum Implementation and Strategic Development Partner.
