FEMA Issues RFI for GeoSpatial Foundation Cloud Hosting Services

March 4, 2013 By Editor

An opportunity from FEMA with a deadline approaching… The RFI asked companies about capabilities to provide managed services, scalability, elasticity, storage, secured devices, database hosting, application hosting and other support. According to the release they are seeking information on the applicability and viability of using cloud computing for automated information system(s) sharing and discovery. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, DMSE is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The attachment to this RFI provides the description of information being sought – Responses are due by 10:00am EST on Monday 11 March 2013 SEE DETAILS HERE
