2016 San Diego Gaslamp Map Updated Just in Time for #esriuc

June 22, 2016 By Editor

Once again, Jim and Martha from BallparkGIS have made available the very handy San Diego Gaslamp map. Add the bookmark to your mobile device or print out the map and keep it in your pocket for quick reference while you navigate the gaslamp during ESRIUC in search of food and drink

2016 San Diego Gaslamp Map

From BallparkGIS…

Time for the 2016 San Diego Gaslamp Quarter map!  In case you need help finding your way around the Gaslamp Quarter during the conference next week, (or you just want to know what’s changed from last year), we’ve put together an updated reference map for your enjoyment!

Go to www.gaslampmap.com to download the new 2-sided PDF map!

By this Friday (June 24) you can also access the 2016 Gaslamp Map via an ArcGIS Online web application through our website.

Notable updates and additions:

  • This year a highlight is Striders on J St and 2nd Ave!  It is an awesome sports bar with good food and a nice craft beer selection.   It also has off-track-betting which is a first in downtown in San Diego.
  • Another place we know will be crowded is 1919!  Another sport bar, this time on 5th.  It used to be Nicky Rottens.
  • Here is a little gem, it’s called The Market Hall!  It’s a gourmet market on Market between 8th and 9th.  Really cool!  Great “home made” meals and sandwiches if you want to grab a bite to go.  There is also a  great wine and cheese selection there.
  • There are too many great new places to mention, so be sure to check out the updated GaslampMap for all the latest info!

Enjoy!  (…and please feel free to pass around!)
