Geospago and what3words partner to provide a mobile mapping solution

Geospago is a mobile mapping solution that enables smartphone and tablet users to integrate mapping and data collection activities into projects quickly and effectively. Geospago handles online and offline workflows and allows collaboration of work and sharing of data.

By integrating the what3words service into Geospago’s mobile mapping solution, users can easily and accurately map, communicate and locate data in the field. This integration has proven especially useful for humanitarian efforts in regions of the world where no other location information, such as postal address, is available. Adding the what3words service to Geospago’s mobile solution provides an easy and intuitive level of certainty that users are exactly where they need to be.

About the partnership, Vinodh Subramanian, Co-founder and CEO of Geospago says, “Our vision is to make mobile mapping simple and easy. Integrating with what3words adds another layer of simplicity that users rely upon and appreciate.”

“This integration will allow organisations to collect addresses for any relevant point and communicate them immediately to partner agencies as well as affected communities. The 3-word address is an enhancement to the excellent mapping services provided by Geospago,” says Chris Sheldrick, CEO and Co-Founder of what3words.
