Geofeedia Collaborates with Dell Digital Business Services

CHICAGO–Geofeedia, a leader in location-based intelligence, was selected as a partner for Dell Digital Business Services, provider of consulting, listening and reporting services for enhancing customer experience through social media.

Leveraging Geofeedia’s location-based intelligence platform, Dell’s customers can now be attuned to what their customers are posting about them, along with where they are saying it and the implied sentiment. For example, a large non-profit health system in the U.S. uses the solution to alert relevant personnel when a patient posts on social media about an issue onsite. As a result, the hospital can quickly address the patient’s experience and increase customer satisfaction. More than 300 clients rely on Dell’s social media services for insight that impacts all aspects of their businesses including brand reputation, product development and customer experiences. Geofeedia’s customer base will also benefit from Dell’s existing social listening investments, making it easier for organizations that might otherwise not have the resources to monitor social media.

“Intelligence garnered from location-based data can help our clients better understand their customers and markets, and pinpoint specific opportunities to put that information into action. Leveraging social analytics should be considered an overall strategy, not just a campaign,” said Raman Sapra, executive director and global head, Digital Business Services, Dell. “With Geofeedia as part of our services, we have been able to provide more valuable intelligence to our clients, allowing them to fully take advantage of the benefits and opportunities that social media affords.”

“By joining forces with Dell Digital Business Services, we are able to provide our users with the service and infrastructure to gather and analyze social data and put it to work,” said Phil Harris, CEO of Geofeedia. “Dell understands the implications of this intelligence for any organization and recognizes that location data provides enormous opportunity to engage with audiences, improving relationships and effectively addressing issues. Dell is a thought leader with a proven track record in digital business and social media, and we are honored to be involved in the company’s Digital Business Services.”
