Herndon, VA – (November 20, 2013) – DLT Solutions, a leading value-added reseller in government information technology (IT) hardware, software and services, today announced that it has launched a customer portal in support of its BPA for the Department of the Navy (DON) Oracle Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) to provide DON personnel license for use and maintenance of a wide variety of Oracle software products. Awarded in June 2013, the DON ELA leverages the existing DLT Solutions Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Software Initiative/Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative (FSSI) SmartBUY Oracle Enterprise Software Agreement and has the potential to reach $227 million if all six options are exercised.
The customer portal provides DON personnel with the ability to review BPA purchase history, access product information and track Oracle license distribution. Users are granted secure access to the customer portal based on DON-defined requirements, with each login linked to the purchase data in the DLT financial system.
“DLT worked closely with both Oracle and the Department of the Navy to meet their individual requirements and refine the portal’s work flow approval process which now generates an automated form for email approval,” explained Brian Strosser, executive vice president of sales, DLT Solutions. “The customer portal empowers the DON with improved control over their Oracle purchasing decisions.”
Specific capabilities of DLT’s Department of Navy Customer Portal include:
- 24 x 7 Secure Access (via SSL)
