Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, Arizona, Chooses Intergraphs End-to-End Public Safety Software

Intergraph’s Software Will Enable Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department to Optimize Response and Streamline Operations

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., June 6, 2012 — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, Arizona, has selected Intergraph® to provide the agency with its integrated, end-to-end public safety software solutions. The implementation will include Intergraph’s computer-aided dispatch (CAD), inPURSUIT Records Management System (RMS), and Business Intelligence for Public Safety. It will also incorporate Intergraph’s Mobile for Public Safety, I/NetViewer and I/NetDispatcher software for web-based communications between dispatchers and officers in the field.

As the fourth largest county in the United States, with a population of more than four million people, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department needed a complete public safety solution to meet their high-volume, day-to-day demands. Sheriff Joe Arpaio says, "My office has been working diligently to update our technology. Working with a company of Intergraph’s caliber, we will be provided with the tools needed to assist deputies in ensuring the safety of Maricopa County citizens."

Intergraph’s system will make it possible for Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office to send CAD incident informa¬¬¬tion to mobile units, which ensures that officers in the field have actionable information available at any time, streamlining operations and reducing response times. Field officers can easily generate reports at the scene to send back to the RMS. Command staff can use Business Intelligence reports to assess real-time and historical activity in the county, giving them the information needed to manage performance.
