Exelis delivers encryptors for GPS OCX

ROCHESTER, N.Y.– Exelis (NYSE: XLS) delivered six enhanced ground encryptors, which will improve information security for the Global Positioning System’s Next-Generation Operational Control System (GPS OCX), to Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN). GPS OCX is part of the U.S. Air Force’s GPS modernization program.

Exelis wins Airbus A350 XWB composite strut contract

Exelis (NYSE: XLS) has been awarded a multimillion dollar contract fromAirbus to produce center wing box struts for the A350-1000 aircraft. This contract marks the second award for the new ExelisSTaR (Struts, Tubes and Rods) product line following the A380 award announcement last year. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2016 and will continue through 2020.
