Exelis focuses on solutions for U.S. Army, Army aviators at upcoming shows

CLIFTON, N.J.– Mar. 26, 2015— Exelis (NYSE: XLS) will showcase industry-leading technologies to support the U.S. Army’s critical missions at two upcoming trade shows.

The first event, the Army Aviation Association of America (Quad-A) Annual Convention, takes place March 29-April 1 in Nashville, Tennessee. The Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) Global Force Symposium is next, March 31-April 2 in Huntsville, Alabama.

Exelis supports the U.S. Army with a wide range of technologies and services. These include communication and navigation systems, sophisticated multifunctional electronic warfare (EW) capabilities, tactical radios and technologies enabling secure information sharing and situational awareness in dynamic, threat-dense environments.

  • Disruptor SRx, the newly debuted adaptive, multifunctional EW capability with industry- leading size, weight and power characteristics for mission success in a constantly changing electronic environment.
  • The ALQ-211 family of electronic self-protection systems, including the suite of integrated radio frequency countermeasures, which protects Army Special Forces’ rotorcraft from sophisticated radio frequency threats.
  • The Network Electronic Warfare Capability, designed to allow any rotary wing platform to receive and transmit aircraft survivability, situational awareness and threat information as a networked application, enabling the sharing of critical information with multiple platforms simultaneously.
