AccuWeather MinuteCast Available in Connect IQ, Providing Hyper-Local Weather on New Garmin fenix 3 Multisport Watches

AccuWeather’s exclusive minute-by-minute precipitation forecast accessible on three updated Garmin wearables, introduced at 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

AccuWeather Global Weather Center – January 7, 2016  –AccuWeather, the global leader in weather information and digital media, today announced AccuWeather MinuteCast® will be available on Garmin’s newest line of fenix 3 multisport watches through the Garmin Connect IQ app store.  Users of Garmin smart devices, including fenix 3 running and training watches and the Forerunner, can download MinuteCast for easy and instant access to AccuWeather’s hyper-local precipitation forecast with Superior Accuracy™.

The patented AccuWeather MinuteCast shows precipitation type and intensity, as well as start and end times for precipitation by the minute for the next two hours, localized to a person’s exact street address or GPS location. The minute-by-minute forecast is available for a growing list of international locations including the contiguous United States, Canada, UK, Spain, Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Scandinavia, parts of the Czech Republic, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, and Japan. 
 


The AccuWeather MinuteCast widget is available for free in the Garmin Connect IQ store at https://apps.garmin.com.
