IconoSquare Makes Using and Browsing Instagram More Fun and Deep Dives Into Your Statistics

April 29, 2014 By Editor

Are you looking for a fun and interesting way to view your Instagram activity, stats and more? Enter IconoSquare – was statigram – apparently, Instagram recently clamped down on third-party apps using their API and they can no longer use the term “Gram” within their name so look for many apps to re-brand! See more about that topic on the IconoSquare blog (http://blog.iconosquare.com/statigram-becomes-iconosquare/)

To use the app simply create an account by connecting IconoSquare with your Instagram account (ie. give them access to your username/password), then view photos from accounts that you follow, browse your own media, see popular stuff, view all the photos you “like” and more. What folks may really dig about the app are the stats, for example, you can easily see your media count, the number of followers, your love rate, spread rate, lost followers and much more – quite nice! Be sure to click the Snapshots tab where the really interesting stuff is found! These are snapshots of your activity composed in very nice little infographics. Snapshots of your activity, favorites, first-time achievements, and most liked are all available and you can quickly email the results and graphics to yourself – a handy hashtag is also provided for each so you can share with others and compare.

Interesting to see that to date I have posted 4,423 photos, have received 11,714 likes, and more than 1,700 comments. What’s really interesting to me though is that my Instagram engagement BLOWS away any form of engagement that I see on my facebook, telling me essentially that facebook really is largely a waste of my time ;0) Now this may not be the case for everyone as there are many very active Facebook users, however, for a large community who I often hear being very vocal about the lack of engagement or level of interest on facebook an app for Instagram followers may be a real eye-opener.

Check out IconoSquare http://iconosquare.com  – Note, users will also receive a custom url where their IconoSquare Instagram feed can be found
