Denver ranked in top 10 for best places for STEM graduates

This comes to us via Denver Business Journal so it may be a little biased {smile}, nonetheless it’s still rather interesting and great news for the Colorado  Front Range…

Denver is a growing hub for workers looking to land a job in the growing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) industries, according to a NerdWallet study released Monday.

That study placed the Denver-Aurora-Broomfield area at No. 9 out of 75 of the largest U.S. metros for the best places for STEM graduates based off income level for STEM jobs and the size of STEM industries.

Kelly Brough, president and CEO of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, said as Denver continues to draw companies from those industries, the number of jobs in STEM fields is expected to increase by 20 percent by 2018.
