Safe Software recognized again as a Niche Player in 2021 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Data Integration Tools

September 1, 2021 By GISuser

Safe Software Inc., a leader in spatial data integration, today announced it has been recognized by Gartner, Inc. as a Niche Player with the highest position on Ability to Execute on the 2021 Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools1. This is Safe Software’s second appearance in this market evaluation.

The full Gartner report can be found here.

We believe, “Leaders responsible for data and analytics often struggle to find, connect, integrate and share data from diverse and heterogeneous sources and applications for their most business-critical use cases. Data integration tools play a pivotal role in ensuring timely access to integrated and governed data for capturing business moments.”

“FME has been a game changer for our team since day one providing the perfect combination of versatility, performance and ease of use to help us manage our geospatial data assets coming from a plethora of sources and served out through multiple channels. We will continue to advance our workflows and efficiency by incorporating more functionality and tools from FME going forward. ” – Geospatial Manager, Services Industry (Gartner Peer Insights)

In 1993, Safe Software recognized that spatial data was being left out of other vendors’ offerings. This inhibited GIS analysts, location intelligence experts, and data scientists from having access and the ability to transform the data they needed to answer the question of “where”.  Spatial data affects everyone’s day-to-day lives and is used to support public transportation networks, manage pipelines and underground assets, enable indoor wayfinding and more. Without a tool like FME, organizations are forced to build custom code to integrate spatial data.  Safe Software’s FME Platform powers business decisions with enterprise integration, no-code automation and the most diverse range of spatial data integration support of any vendor on the market.

We believe “Being selected as a Niche player in the Magic Quadrant recognizes that our FME platform is  an enterprise solution that organizations, large and small, rely on.  Our enterprise customers and technology partners constantly communicate to us the growing importance of all types of spatial data for the decision making process and how it gives them a competitive advantage in the marketplace.   With FME, our customers are getting the most comprehensive spatial data support in any enterprise solution enabling them to make the decisions using all the data that is available across their businesses,” said Don Murray, CEO, Safe Software.
