Yesterday (September 17), in between the clouds, Maxar Technologies’ WorldView-3 satellite collected new satellite imagery of the aftermath of Hurricane Sally that reveals damage to many homes, businesses and infrastructure along the Alabama Gulf coast.
Imagery below focuses in on the coastal communities of Gulf Shores and the Fort Morgan peninsula of Alabama, providing before/after imagery comparisons of the area. Maxar continues to monitor the aftermath of the storm and will provide updates, as applicable.
