San Francisco, Calif. – May 26, 2020 — HVR, the leading independent provider of real-time cloud data replication technology, today announced the launch of the Digital Transformation Storytelling Series, a multi-session, industry-specific web series featuring customer stories that explore how companies enacted and accelerated their digital transformation strategies. The series is designed to help organizations get real-world examples of how cloud-based technologies and real-time data can solve complex challenges and bring success in the current crisis-driven business environment.
“We are excited to launch this initiative, as organizations are discovering that digital transformation is essential to stay competitive in our data-driven economy. In the current crisis, however, strategies need to be implemented on an accelerated timeline,” said Anthony Brooks-Williams, CEO, HVR. Not only do we have the technology to help customers do this, but with our combined years of specialized experience in bringing data together, we can share our hard-earned knowledge to help customers make the right decisions.
“When it comes to digital transformation,” Brooks-Willliams continues, “talent and experience are key ingredients to success.”
A new update to the IDC Worldwide Digital Transformation Spending Guide forecasts a 10.4% increase in global spending on digital transformation in 2020 to $1.3 trillion, despite reductions in IT budgets overall. Further, according to Gartner’s updated IT Spending Forecast, spending on public cloud services will grow 19% in 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic pushes companies to move toward distributed workforces.
As businesses adapt to this ever-changing environment and make immediate gains to lessen COVID’s impact, HVR helps execute digital transformation strategies with the integration of large volumes of data from on-premise data sources into multiple cloud-based technologies. Through its log-based Change Data Capture technology and broad database support, HVR provides centralized access to data, allowing organizations to stay agile, identify greater efficiencies, modify operational processes, adjust revenue streams, and make responsive, informed decisions on real-time data. Regardless of the phase of transformation an organization is in, HVR helps customers quickly optimize their strategies, scale their business, and make decisions on the freshest data possible.
The first session takes place on Thursday, May 28 at 9am PT/12pm ET and will explore how organizations in the financial services industry identified opportunities and overcame challenges to use cloud-based technology and real-time analytics to better serve their customers. Subsequent sessions feature use cases from supply chain and logistics, as well as consumer goods.
