“The Orbit GT Feature Extraction v17 products are awesome new releases”, says Peter Bonne, CEO of Orbit GT. “With countless improvements and enhancements, for sure the Automated Detection and Parallel Extraction tools catch most interest.”

The Automated Detection tools are a spectacular addition to the many manual measurement and feature extraction tools.  A great variety of objects suhc as curbs, rails, catenary wires and more can now be detected and registered in your database with a single click.  The Parallel Extraction tool allows for siimultaneous extraction of all assets along the road’s axis.  With each step forward, the tool automatically adjusts it’s direction (following bends) and snaps the features to the point cloud without any manual effort.  These and many other great enhancements are included in v17, available today.
