New Century Software Releases SheetCutter & TemplateDesigner 9.0

April 25, 2016 By GISuser

Industry-leading alignment sheet generator duo, SheetCutter & TemplateDesigner, offers enhanced data model support and improved reporting.

New Century Software announced today that it has released the latest versions of the industry leading tools for generating alignment sheets within the Esri Platform, SheetCutter & TemplateDesigner 9.0.

“Alignment Sheets have long-been a way to provide data visualization and reporting to non-GIS users across the enterprise,” said New Century Software President, Ron Brush. “However, in today’s economic climate, our customers need to do more with less. With the latest release of SheetCutter & TemplateDesigner, we’re improving usability and efficiency to allow our customers to get more done, while laying a foundation for upcoming data models and technology.”

SheetCutter & TemplateDesigner 9.0 offers improved visualization of linear referenced data in a single location through chart band labeling, configurable presentation of table attributes, and history reporting. Keeping current with data models and partnering technology, the latest release of SheetCutter & TemplateDesigner offers full file geodatabase support and has been certified against Esri’s ArcGIS 10.4.

“With SheetCutter 9.0, we aimed to add functionality as well as offer better performance and stability for our GIS end-users, ” said Technical Product Manager, Justin Calvert. “Additionally, we are also well-positioned for near-future Esri releases so our customers can begin to demonstrate the value of GIS to the organization and create a system of engagement.”

Additional features in SheetCutter & TemplateDesigner 9.0 include:

  • Route and Line ID GUID support
  • Full File Geodatabase support
  • Coded Domains
  • Canadian dynamic elevation data sources
  • Vertical scale Title band
