Xactware’s Property InSight Is Now Available

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Xactware today announced that Property InSightTM is now available for all residential, commercial, and agricultural structures in the United States. The comprehensive Property InSight data bundle includes 3D property models; roof, exterior, and property measurements; structural materials identification; property risk factors; high-resolution aerial images; and many more critical data points geared specifically for professionals who work with properties. Xactware is a Verisk Analytics business (Nasdaq:VRSK).

Professionals can request Property InSight data through Xactware’s claims estimating solution, Xactimate®; its claims management network, XactAnalysis®; or Verisk’s insurance-to-value offering, 360Value®. Property InSight arrives as a powerful data package that includes a native Xactimate 3D sketch of the structure, exterior dimensions and measurements, information about building characteristics, a set of high-quality aerial images, risk factors, and more.

“Buildings with complex roof systems and complicated exterior footprints can take hours to draw,” said Jeffrey C. Taylor, Xactware’s vice president of Property InSight. “With Property InSight, a diagram and building information is loaded into the estimate immediately and ready to go with all exterior dimensions and with the precise location of doors, windows, decks, outbuildings, and even trees and lot lines. And that’s just one of hundreds of uses for Property InSight data.”

With Property InSight enabled, the estimator enters the street address of the structure, and Xactware returns the Property InSight data package. Claims estimators can use the information to estimate everything from a total loss, to replacing shingles or siding, to replacing a damaged rain gutter or repairing a damaged deck. Underwriters can use the information to view the property accurately and determine an insurance-to-value amount without turning to the property owner or public databases.

“Property InSight is transforming the way property professionals work,” said Jim Loveland, Xactware’s president and CEO. “Data on homes that was previously difficult to find and time-consuming to collect now arrives ready to go. It’s a powerful data bundle that provides a substantial advantage for claims handlers, underwriters, and professionals who need an accurate view of the exterior of a property.”
