SuperGIS Cache Generator Now Supports STP Format

January 6, 2015 By GISuser

Supergeo announces that Cache Generator, the built-in tool in SuperGIS Desktop 3.2, now supports STP format, as a faster alternative to STC and XML files, for users to experience a smoother cache map production on desktop and mobile devices.

For elevating map caching quality and reducing cache production time, SuperGIS Cache Generator now supports STP Format, SuperGIS Tile Package, which allows users to produce more detailed information in cache maps, and applied to SuperSurv, the GIS mapping app, for completing field survey works with ease.

According to the Product Team at Supergeo, SuperGIS Cache Generator will constantly be updated with more effective functions. For example, users may export caches, create caches on multiple machines, and merge caches quickly. In the coming version, users may also define exporting area, scales and layers, and merge multiple caches of different areas into one, to decrease process time with more productivity and efficiency.

XML format will be replaced by STP in the future, and Supergeo will invest more in superior map caching function developing.

More powerful functions of SuperGIS Cache Generator will be shown on SupergeoTV; subscribe to get the latest GIS info.
