Call For Papers – Location Based Services 2015 Innovate with Location Data

January 16, 2015 By GISuser

Call For Papers – Location Based Services, 2-3 June 2015  Thistle Marble Arch London

LBS 2015

In June 2015 LBSZone is supporting global events provider Informa Telecoms & Media as proud hosts of the Location Based Services event in London’s vibrant city centre.

Catering to MNOs/Carriers, Enterprises (including Retailers, Stadia, Financial services, Public sector, Transport, Leisure & Travel, Healthcare, Automotive), App developers, LBS technology vendors and advertising agencies, it will be a unique snapshot of the business model innovation taking place around location data.

There are fantastic advisory board members already (scroll down to see them all) and great praise for the draft agenda so far; now we would like to offer you the chance to input and share your business’ work on location-based services and applications

If you have a case study or demo, this is your chance to get involved. Submit your ideas for inclusion in the conference and help shape the exciting 2015 meeting of the LBS community. The industry is particularly interested to hear of any case studies of some novel uses of location data currently in use!

Key presentation topics suggested so far

  • The growing trend of mobile context: using location data for ultra-personalisation of services
  • Engaging mobile users with ultra-targeted messaging
  • The challenges and opportunities presented by LBS
  • Privacy and security best-practice
  • Cross-industry case studies of Location Based Service pilots & roll outs: retail, govt., finance, transport, heath, etc.
  • Tailoring technology choices for indoor LBS: which is the best combination for your organisation of A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, WLAN, etc.?
  • Driving new revenue channels and/or growing operational efficiencies through the growth in LBS

Email your proposal no later than Friday 23rd January to emily.martyr @ informa.com or call on +44 (0)207 017 5962
