Contex Offers New Valued-Priced Solutions for Popular Wide Format Scanners

December 12, 2014 By GISuser

Contex, the world’s leader of wide format scanning and imaging solutions, today announces that it is making wide format scanning even more affordable by creating value-priced solutions for several popular models: the HD iFLEX, HD Ultra 4290, and ScanStation. The new pricing reflects a savings of up to 20%. As part of this value solution offering, the company is also including a 2-year onsite warranty for select models. The warranty ensures maximum uptime by providing onsite, professional factory service by trained technicians. Contex’s new value-pricing is now available through authorized resellers and distributors.

“Contex’s new value pricing is making wide format scanning even more affordable for our expanding audience,” comments Steve Blanken, General Manager, Contex Americas. “Our 2-year onsite warranty inclusion also lets our customers know that when they invest in our scanners, we are investing in them as well. Contex is very focused on customer satisfaction, and this onsite warranty lets them know that we stand behind our products.”

Value-Pricing on Award-Winning Scanners

Each of the newly priced Contex wide format scanners solves a different workflow challenge. For example, the HD Ultra is designed to meet the needs of technical experts, graphic professionals and reprographics departments. It captures maps, drawings, posters or fine art in exceptional detail.

The HD iFLEX is the most flexible A2/C-size flatbed in the market and can scan up to A1/D-size documents. Fast scanning speeds and ultra flexible design make the HD iFLEX the perfect solution for the demanding user.

The new ScanStation is specifically designed for productivity. The solution provides best-in-class image quality and the most efficient way to scan, copy, file and archive any wide format document. The scanning solution can provide up to 30% improvement in productivity in comparison to alternate solutions. ScanStation includes a high-volume scanner, controller with high-end features for scan + copy, including REimage, and a height-adjustable stand. REimage is exclusive to Contex scanning solutions; it allows users to go back to raw scans and capture specific content, eliminating the need to rescan documents.
