On-Premise Analytics Console Designed for Large Organizations With Need for Onsite Data Storage

April 22, 2014 By Editor

New York, NY & Washington, DC – April 14, 2014 — Boundless, the leading provider of open source geospatial software and services, is delivering the first on-premises version of its popular Mapmeter server analytics console.

Mapmeter Enterprise is a full administration and management tool for analyzing GeoServer and OpenGe o Suite server deployments and monitoring the health and usage of production geospatial services.

With Mapmeter Enterprise, managers gain real-time insight and context regarding the availability and performance of their geospatial systems. The tool tracks key metrics such as response times, performance trends, and layer performance. With this knowledge, system managers can better understand where and why attention is needed in their enterprise spatial deployments and project future scenarios and issues.

“Enterprise geospatial applications require a sophisticated information dashboard, like Mapmeter, to keep them apprised of their system status and make the most informed decisions,” said Boundless CEO Eddie Pickle.  “The pace of app development and innovation across IT demands a flexible, open approach that is not available in today’s proprietary systems.”

Mapmeter works with OpenGeo Suite, the commercial open source software that gives customers access, control, customization and more while also providing standards compliance and expert support. OpenGeo Suite includes a powerful map and feature server for sharing, analyzing, and editing geospatial data from spatial data sources using open standards. With the addition of spatial monitoring and reporting, Mapmeter Enterprise provides a complete IT workflow to empower and maintain innovative enterprise applications.

Mapmeter Enterprise, available immediately from Boundless, allows customers to store and control sensitive data on-premises to comply with security regulations and policies. It also enables unlimited storage capacity and archiving for customers who need to maintain records past the six month agreement available with the cloud-based version of Mapmeter.

Mapmeter Enterprise is available as a stand-alone tool for $9,500 per year as a companion to a supported OpenGeo Suite installation.
