Data visualization software company sees growth continuing in Q3
Lansing, MI, August 6, 2013— Software maker IDV Solutions today announced that is has expanded over the last quarter, prompting several new hires, internal promotions, and a new Orlando, Florida office, which opened August 1. The company, which is headquartered in Lansing, Michigan, is the creator of Visual Command Center and Visual Fusion, software that helps companies, governments, and organizations solve problems related to risk, security and response, defense and intelligence, supply chain management, global asset monitoring, sales and marketing, humanitarian aid, mobile asset/people tracking, business intelligence, and more.

It gives us ready access to a large talent market for software developers,” Mark Morrison, Chief Executive Officer, IDV Solutions, stated. “The Orlando office is located near many of our large technology customers, VARS, and integrators, which makes it ideal for sales and for training our customers and partners on our visualization software.”
Aaron J. Kenyon has been named Corporate Counsel for IDV Solutions. Kenyon has nine years of experience in corporate counsel and executive-level positions in several organizations. He graduated magna cum laude in 2004 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a concentration in Business Transactions, and received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University in 2000 where he majored in Accounting.
Joe Baker has joined IDV Solutions as a senior software developer. Baker graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2002, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Baker focuses on improvements and updates to IDV Solutions’ Visual Fusion platform.
Chris Bowers, senior software developer, will be working on connectors which enable the company’s Visual Command Center software to ingest data from a wide variety of sources. Bowers graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2004, with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering.
Geoff O’Donnell, software developer, graduated from Michigan State University in 2007, with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He is currently working on Visual Command Center projects for IDV Solutions’ clients.
Scott Stoecker, senior software developer, attended Michigan State University College of Engineering. Scott will focus on Visual Command Center hosting options and customer deployments.
IDV Solutions also announced two promotions within the company. Andy Brandt has been promoted to development manager, and Abigail Hill has been named senior software developer. Brandt will be responsible for supporting the development team, working to improve development practices and finding ways to streamline processes in order to deliver better products more quickly. Hill will be working on Visual Command Center planning and updates.
