Well, another State of the Map US (http://stateofthemap.us/) event has come and gone and if you happen to be anything like me then you’re likely mumbling to yourself… "dam, why wasn’t I there this year??" Indeed you do wish you were there I bet as about 400 Geogeeks, developers, consultants and more hit San Fran to talk everything OSM and more.
Luckily for all of us, the OSM community is awesome at sharing! You can always rehash the event for yourself via the Twitter hashtag #sotmus where you’ll find some real gems and nice references to some very geeky and interesting stuff that took place at the event. There’s also been some nice sharing from the attendees including:
A detailed blog post from Anthony and the gang at Spatial Networks who discuss their talk on the pushpin editor along with comments about the event – see their SOTMUS 13 Summary post here
The Code for America team blogged on getting Jiggy at SOTMUS
Video presentations on Vimeo of all of the amazing talks can be found http://vimeopro.com/openstreetmapus/state-of-the-map-us-2013
