Share your work with your Best Map, Best Poster, and/or Best Script
Time is ticking to enter your best poster, best map (paper or online interactive), or best script. This is your opportunity to showcase your work and inspire your peers and colleagues with your fascinating projects.
Contest categories include:
Best cartographic design
Best analytic presentation
Best data integration
Best online interactive map
Best student map
Innovative scripting process or custom geoprocessing tool
Display-only option
The winner in each category will receive a $50.00 Amazon.com gift card.
Submissions for the online interactive map include the opportunity to informally present your interactive map during lunch on Tuesday, May 7. There will also be one computer set-up during the conference for attendees to view the online map submissions. Enter your map, poster or script online by 12 noon, May 1st.
Cannot come to the conference? No worries. You can still share your work without entering the contest. Just send in your entry and, space permitting, we will display your map or poster. More information can be found on the website.
The 2013 Washington GIS Conference is shaping into an exciting program!

Not registered yet? Quick and get registered before the end of Advance Registration on April 30th and save $50. Register here for the workshops and the conference. Late registration (from May 1- May 6) increases to $340 for professionals and $185 for students.
Other exciting program items include this year’s opening keynote presenter is Professor Michael Goodchild, Emeritus Professor of Geography at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Esri returns with its Hands-On Learning Lab to offer free training for attendees wanting experience with areas of Esri software that may be new to attendees.
