Welcome again to our 2X-A-Week GISuser news roundup. I hope 2013 is treating you well and you and/or your team are ready to rock it in 2013! A number of companies are hard at it early in the year and churning out loads of news and new goodies – case in point, Intergraph who just this morning treated the media to an online event designed to introduce us to the 2013 product suite. I’m sure you’ll be hearing lots in the near future about the latest solutions including ERDAS APOLLO, IMAGINE, ER Mapper, and the complete GeoMedia lineup of solutions – oh, and look for details of a road show World tour stop coming to a city near you as well! Our friends at SuperGeo Technologies are also hard at it early in the year, the company is rolling out new solutions like the Mobile Cadastral GIS (Android) and they’ve also re-branded with a new name and logo to support their global branding – good luck to them! The team at Safe Software in Vancouver is hosting a live 2013 product launch event next week with Dale and Don delivering some goodies about what you can expect over the coming months… should be good! Finally, Ted and crew at Avenza has been very busy lately; the company has a recently updated iOS release and just this week they’ve announced some very cool technology in the write support for LizardTech MrSID Format in their popular Geographic Imager solution – nice!!
