Awesome To See Google's Project 10 100 Winners

September 26, 2010 By Editor

Kudos to Google on the selection of the 5 winners of Project 10 100 competition, a Global search for 5 innovative project that are tackling some of the most important issues of the day. Of particular interest to yours truly were 2 of the selections which are fabulous in my mind (although all 5 totally rock it!) Firstly, publicresource.org is a non-profit committed to enhancing and supporting public access to information and government transparency. The group has won $2 mill to work on their public Law initiative, committed to delivering the public more information on legal issues and legal materials. Second, the FIRST initiative, devoted to encouraging and promoting science and math education through team competitions. FIRST has a fabulously successful competition every year, encouraging budding scientists to convene on a national competition and show off their brilliance and imagination with a heavy focus on science, math, and engineering… congrats!
