SAR data is becoming more popular for commercial, research, and government purposes because of its ability to provide crucial data both day and night and in virtually all weather conditions. The SARscape Modules for ENVI, developed by sarmap SA of Switzerland, provide dedicated SAR processing algorithms enabling users to automatically generate speckle filtered, calibrated and geocoded products from Single Look Complex data or any other COSMO-SkyMed standard product. They also deliver easy to use, powerful interferometry tools for generating Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) and land displacement maps, which are particularly useful for defense and intelligence, land mapping, disaster monitoring and seismic applications.
