New Release of Colortrac SmartWorks Pro Software With Support for Latest Canon and Océ Printers

April 7, 2020 By GISuser

Costa Mesa, CA – April 8, 2020 – Paradigm Imaging Group, a leading distributor of large format scanners, printers and multifunction systems, announces new updates to Colortrac Scanning Software.

Colortrac is one of the world’s largest producers of large format scanning solutions and now has made it easier than ever to combine a Colortrac scanner with a wide format printer. Colortrac scanners range in size from 25” to 44” with either CIS or CCD technology and are one of the fastest, most reliable scanners on the market.

The SmartWorks Pro intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) can be operated through either Mouse or Touch Screen enabled displays, providing simple and rapid access to the wide range of new Full Color and Image Quality Editing features. Updates to Colortrac SmartWorks Pro V1.9.7.0 have added the New Canon imagePROGRAF PRO series printer drivers for Canon PRO-2100, PRO-4100, PRO-4100s, PRO-6100, and PRO-6100s (can be installed over the top of previous versions).

Previous updates to Colortrac SmartWorks Pro V1.9.3.0 software added both the Canon TM Series Printer Drivers and the Océ ColorWave Printer Drivers (can be installed over the top of V1.9.1.3).  Also added was the Long PDF enhancement – single page per scan Long PDF file generation has been improved to remove the separate pages that existed in the previous version. Long scans now create a continuous page from any mix of page length, width, resolution and color mode up to a maximum internal storage file size of 4GB.

“These updates enhance the SCAN, COPY, PRINT process made possible with our FLEX and EIS MFP Solutions”, said Randy Geesman.  “It makes it easier than ever to choose the Colortrac scanner you need that will work with an existing printer or a printer of your choice”.
