Wingtra and SimActive are hosting an informative webinar for those interested in UAV technology this November. The focus is UAV mapping without the use of GCP (ground control points)
The use of GCPs has been for a long time the only way to achieve high-accuracy in mapping. New technologies such as PPK can eliminate the need for ground control. This training session will discuss how to use higher-end drones to collect such precise data as well as how to process the resulting imagery. Specifically, attendees will learn about the following:
– Mission planning
– Data acquisition and post-processing
– Performing aerial triangulation with PPK
– Generating DSM, DTM and orthomosaic
