Hemisphere GNSS Appoints Jason Killpack as Director of Business Development, Machine Control for North America

Munich, Germany – April 9, 2019 – Hemisphere GNSS, Inc. (Hemisphere) announces today that Jason Killpack has joined the company as director of business development, machine control for North America.

This appointment will further support and develop Hemisphere’s expanding OEM (original equipment manufacturer) initiatives and Hemisphere’s distribution channel development for construction and machine control product portfolios.

Based out of Portland, OR, USA, Mr. Killpack brings a wealth of industry expertise and knowledge to Hemisphere with more than 22 years of proven experience in various positioning markets. Mr. Killpack has spent the last 17 years with US-based Topcon Positioning Systems, Inc. serving as director of business development, strategic partnerships for the last 9 years. Mr. Killpack was instrumental in acquiring and supporting OEMs, distributors, and end-users to effectively strengthen the brand.

Prior to joining Topcon Positioning Systems, Mr. Killpack served in sales management roles for SOKKIA Co., Ltd. and has experience selling Leica Geosystems, AGL Construction Lasers & Machine Control Systems (now part of GeoMax Positioning), MOBA Mobile Automation AG, and Trimble, Inc. products.

“Jason is a proven business development manager and strategic leader with the experience and expertise to lead Hemisphere’s machine control OEM and channel development for North America,” said Randy Noland, vice president of global sales & business development at Hemisphere. “His understanding of our business and deep OEM and machine control industry experience make him critical to our current and future business development plans.” Mr. Noland added, “I have worked with Jason in the past and am very pleased to have him as part of our team.”

Mr. Killpack will be supporting Hemisphere’s sales and marketing efforts at bauma 2019 in Munich, Germany from April 8 through 14, 2019 at stand A2.228.
