Solv3D Releases Multiple New Features within 3DPointLogic and SiteVisit360

January 29, 2019 By GISuser

CALGARY – January 29, 2019  – Solv3D, a leading provider of 3D processing, geospatial data visualization and collaboration tools announced that a number of new features have recently been released within each of their products –SiteVisit360™ and 3DPointLogic™.

“We are extremely pleased with these two releases, as they will enable our customers to produce higher-quality data, and access that data much more easily.” said Scott Campbell, Solv3D’s CEO. “We listened to our clients about the problems they were facing, and worked with them to solve those issues.

SiteVisit360
Most notably for SiteVisit360 are Single Sign On (SSO), allowing enterprise-type users to use a single authentication module and the Software Development Kit (SDK).  The SDK provides the ability for customization and manipulation of Tags, Add/Manage Folders and Collection Discussions, as well as a REST API.  We have also created a SiteVisit360 Upload Tool for cloud processing.  This will allow customers to easily upload their own data and have SiteVisit360 run the required processing algorithms automatically.

3DPointLogic
New features in 3DPointLogic include LAZ to LAS/LAS to LAZ format conversions, Aerial Tile Map Generation and Ground Filter – Pro, the most robust and rigorous ground filter algorithm to date. Not only is the functionality offered in this product consistently growing to meet user needs, but recently, there was also a substantial price reduction on the annual subscription rates, thereby further increasing the value of this offering.

“Power users have been asking about specific use cases with ground filter classification on some unique data sets. We’re excited to release the Ground Filter – Pro version.” states CTO, Kevin Miller.  “This algorithm provides the user with the ability to finely tune their parameters, which allows them to customize how the algorithm interprets the data, thus providing more accurate results.”
