Live Webinar on What’s New in Geographic Calculator SP 2

January 12, 2017 By GISuser

Join us on February 1 as we introduce the latest release of Geographic Calculator

During this hour-long, interactive webinar, we explore the latest developments in Blue Marble’s flagship geodetic software. Geographic Calculator Service Pack 2 is scheduled for release on January 17 and provides an array of functional enhancements and performance upgrades.

The webinar is scheduled for February 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm EST. Registration is required and space is limited so be sure to sign up today.

During this session, new and intermediate users will be familiarized with the layout and operation of the application. Users experienced in previous versions will get a refresher on the software and an introduction to recent functional upgrades, including support for writing coordinate systems for a Petrel™ CTL file and updates that streamline working with the Area Calculation interface.

We will also take a look at the new beta release of the GeoCalc Geodetic Registry, the new online registry, which is used to research and update new geodetic definitions into Geographic Calculator’s database and which also includes deprecation of definitions that are no longer valid.
