Cloud-Based Software Platform Provider WaterSuite Secures Major Growth Capital Investment

November 17, 2016 By GISuser

Leading provider of software to the water industry will use funds to accelerate expansion of WaterSuite.com platform

ROCKLAND, Mass.–WaterSuite, a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for the drinking water community (www.watersuite.com) announced today an initial investment of $3 million from New York City based 32 Laight Street Partners. The funding will be used to accelerate enhancements of WaterSuite’s flagship product, enabling it to serve customers more broadly and develop next generation products more quickly.

“As demand continues to increase for our solutions, this funding ensures that we will continue to innovate and deliver an exceptional set of integrated tools, functionality, and data. These resources will support water quality and operations professionals responsible for planning, protecting, monitoring, and responding to challenges confronting drinking water resources.”

Founded in 2015, WaterSuite aggregates enormous amounts of public and private data and provides a system of record for water quality managers and operators. WaterSuite transforms data into actionable intelligence via a browser based GIS interface, delivered through a modular, cloud-based software platform. This intelligence helps water professionals responsible for delivering drinking water understand threats and emerging issues facing them so they can more easily plan for, document, and better respond to adverse events and government compliance requirements alike.

“We are excited to enter this partnership with 32 Laight Street to accelerate the growth of WaterSuite,” said Jeffrey Rosen, CEO of WaterSuite.

“When we were first presented with the opportunity to partner with Jeff and his team, it was clear that their solutions align with critical needs of the water community,” said Fred Poses, Managing Director of 32 Laight Street Partners. “The future of the world’s access to safe drinking water depends in part on innovation by companies like WaterSuite, and we believe we can contribute to the success of WaterSuite’s mission to deliver software and intelligence to help the community.”
