Expanded finishing portfolio offers turnkey large format print and laminate solutions
| MELVILLE, N.Y., May 2, 2016 – Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced that it has partnered with D&K Group – a global manufacturer of leading-edge adhesive and coating technologies and print finishing equipment. The vertically integrated manufacturer specializes in a wide assortment of laminating films, adhesives, coated products, and equipment designed to work with today’s print engines. With this collaboration, Canon Solutions America’s Large Format division expands its portfolio offerings to now include turnkey solutions for printing and laminating applications.
With the addition of these wide format laminators and laminating films to their already expansive portfolio of large format products and services, Canon Solutions America has once again elevated its robust suite of print application capabilities. Now, by combining D&K premium laminators and laminating films with an Océ ColorWave® printer or Océ Arizona® series printer, users can experience a heightened range of application possibilities such as flexible displays, floor graphics, wall graphics, counter top graphics, and much more. Additionally, the Canon Solutions America Professional Services team can help customers implement a total end-to-end solution with advanced consulting, workflow analysis, and implementation services. As part of the collaboration, Canon Solutions America Large Format division is offering D&K wide format laminators with 42”, 62” and 65” widths, across two model families: one (EXP42+ and EXP62+) designed for multi-purpose laminating thermal, PSA and mounting , and a second (EXP65+) designed for heavy duty and commercial lamination up to 65” working width – as well as a wide offering of films and adhesives designed specifically for these models to ensure end-to-end high quality output. “The seamless blend of Canon, Océ and D&K technology has allowed Canon Solutions America to explore new avenues of opportunities and growth, and enable our customers to do the same.” said Sal Sheikh, VP of Marketing, Large Format Solutions, Canon Solutions America. “From thermal, heat assist, and pressure sensitive laminating films to state-of-the-art equipment, this was built on innovation and the ability to meet unique application requirements.
