East View Partners with Planet Labs Offering Greater Coverage to Consumers

February 9, 2016 By Editor

MINNEAPOLIS – February 9, 2016 – East View Geospatial customers will now have access to increased satellite imagery frequency, and a growing archive offering the full suite of Planet Labs products.

The agreement gives East View Geospatial additional resources to meet diverse customer needs, as more than 100 Planet Labs satellites are circling the earth, gathering data and recording imagery of the entire planet almost daily.
“Our expanding partnership with Planet Labs and BlackBridge gives EVG customers access to a rich archive of multi-spectral data as well as new, on-demand imagery from the world’s largest satellite constellation,” said Kent Lee, President and CEO of East View Geospatial.
The Planet Labs access comes from the recent Planet Labs acquisition of BlackBridge, already an East View Partner and owner of the RapidEye satellite constellation, an end-to-end commercial earth observation system consisting of five satellites and advanced data management that can plan, acquire and process more than 5 million km² of imagery every day.
For more information about how to acquire access to Planet Labs imagery, the RapidEye constellation, or any other Geospatial Products, email geospatial@eastview.com, or contact your East View Geospatial Representative.
