Contex’s SD One Wide Format Scanner to Debut at ISA Expo

National / Azon to Demonstrate Contex’s New Desktop Scanner at Industry’s Largest Signage Show

Rockville, MD — April 3, 2015 — Contex, the world’s leader of wide format scanning and imaging solutions, today announces that the new SD One will be demonstrated at the upcoming ISA Expo at National / Azon’s booth #1359. The SD One is the market’s first wide format scanner specifically designed for convenience scanning. With built-in cloud connectivity, the sleek and lightweight scanner is easily transportable to where it’s needed. At the Expo, attendees are invited to bring a wide format document to National Azon’s booth to experience the SD One first hand. ISA Expo takes place April 9-11 in Las Vegas.

“We are excited to showcase the SD One at ISA Expo,” comments Rich Gigl, VP of Marketing, National / AZON, a Contex Master distributor. “The scanner is ideal for many of our customers that need a basic wide format scanner within arm’s reach, versus one located in another department or building. It’s a nice addition to an office and adds a boost to productivity.”

“For the quick capture of wide format documents, the SD One is the scanner of choice,” comments Steve Blanken, General Manager, Contex Americas. “With its portability and convenience, the SD One complements any one of our productivity or precision scanners like the HD iFlex and ScanStation solutions.”

Contex’s Family of Wide Format Scanners

Recently launched, the SD One joins Contex’s family of wide format scanners, which range in document size from 24- to 54-inches wide. Contex scanners meet the needs of the most demanding user — from high volume, frequent or occasional use — and varying document types including CAD and engineering, maps and GIS, and artwork and photos.

Contex’s SD One is ideal for customers that need a quick scan of a large format document. The scanner eliminates the need to outsource the scanning function. Instead, users can capture changes to drawings and other documents as they occur, with date and time stamping. All scanned documents can be saved to Google Drive, Dropbox, Box.com, or Microsoft OneDrive.
