The Top Products Awards highlight the innovative products that have been introduced to the market in the last 15 months which have made an impact on the industry and have improved the efficiencies and profits of print-service-providers.

Nominated Products:

Colortrac SmartLF SC Xpress scanners – Colortrac introduced the new SmartLF SC Xpress Series scanners to boost performance and provide a reliable as well as affordable scanning solution. The new superfast large format scanner series comes with proven SingleSensor technology, a Colortrac invention that combines CIS elements and LEDs in a single line for maximum scan accuracy and optimal illumination. SingleSensor combines the best features of CCD and staggered CIS scanner design in a single-line sensor array that requires virtually no routine maintenance by users, and provides exceptional color and dimensional accuracy, at high definition resolution and ultra fast scan speeds. The new SC Xpress series are capable of speeds up to 12 inches per second in color and 13 inches per second in black and white. Available in three sizes, 42in, 36in and 25in, with a variety of simple, intuitive software options, the SmartLF SC Xpress allows you to get the right image first time.

Colortrac SC Flex Xpress MFP Systems – Colortrac SC Flex Xpress MFP Systems will enable users to streamline their workflow and improve productivity by complementing their existing large format printer. This system includes the revolutionary new SmartLF SC Xpress scanners from Colortrac, also nominated for the 2015 Top Product Award. With higher quality imaging, higher scanning speed and SuperSpeed data transfer, the Colortrac SC Flex Xpress MFP Systems provide fast, high quality scans or copies of wide format maps, site plans, engineering drawings, blueprints, architectural renderings and many other technical documents. Adjustable height stand allows the Flex Xpress to be paired with all most any inkjet printer in a “single footprint” configuration. It is available in two basic configurations; the Flex Express BASE model provides the option for a user supplied PC or the Flex Express PRO model that includes a powerful Rocket ONE TM Controller with preloaded software.

SID IJ3000 Eco Solvent Inks – The SID IJ3000 inks are formulated for maximum outdoor durability and UV light resistance. In laboratory testing, the inks received a grade of 8 (6 or higher being suitable for outdoor use). Testing was done with Xenon high pressure lamps, providing results similar to daylight exposure. Since the IJ3000 inks are a mild or eco solvent, they require minimal venting and create less environmental impact than traditional solvent inks. In addition to their reliable performance, SID eco solvent inks are among the most affordable on the market at $54 per liter and are compatible with print heads from other manufacturers with 12 pl or similar high resolution print heads.

“We will continue to offer state-of-the-art solutions that satisfy a continually changing market, delivered with the utmost care and attention to detail.” says Randy Geesman, President of Paradigm Imaging Group.

Winners will be announced at the 2015 ISA show in Las Vegas, and featured in the April issue of Wide-Format Imaging magazine.
