Elmore County, Alabama Selects DREAMaps Analyst 10.0 on ArcGIS Server

January 28, 2010 By Editor

Smart Data Strategies, Inc. (SDS), a leading provider of GIS software and services, announced today that the Elmore County Revenue Commissioner’s office has implemented DREAMapsT Analyst 10.0 on ArcGIS Server 9.3 as its web-based visualization and analysis tool.

DREAMapsT Analyst will allow Elmore County, a long time SDS client, to increase office efficiency by further utilizing GIS within the assessment process through robust reporting, calculation of appraisal statistics, and a configurable executive dashboard which will provide users with a snapshot of events they have chosen to quickly view and track at a parcel level.

Elmore County chose to upgrade to the new web-based version of Analyst for its ease of use, increased data accessibility throughout the county, ability to customize the user experience per department and / or user, and the new features such as the "what if" function which among other things allows Elmore County to simulate changes in value and predict the effects the change has on the appraisal statistics of a particular area without actually committing changes to the CAMA system.
