Developer Tip – The Esri Dev Meetup series of events #DevMeetup

For you developers and wanna-be Esri developers, take note of the Esri Dev Meetup series of events scheduled for various locations around the country from Sept 2010 – May 2011. Events kick off in L.A and Washington D.C with more events throughout the winter, many coinciding with other events. Events of interest to me should it be possible to fit into the travel plans include Oct 20 meet in Fort Collins, Colorado (should be a great event since its on GIS Alley!) and Oct 21 in Denver, Colorado – Find an event near you at http://www.esri.com/events/dev-meetup/index.html

From Esri… The idea is for this to be a social event after business hours, but with an invited speaker and opportunity for attendees to submit and present lightning talks.   Our intent is to hold a dozen or so of these in locations around the US.

At Dev Meet Up, users are invited to:

  • Demonstrate your application or framework.
  • Present an interesting concept or idea.
  • Share your experiences.
  • Connect with other developers.

All developers are invited to discuss geospatial technology and their development languages at this free event from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

Developers can submit a topic for a 10-minute presentation when they register.
