Laser Technology, Inc. Extends ArcPadLaserGIS Mobile Mapping Challenge!

December 6, 2012 By Editor

December 5, 2012 — Laser Technology, Inc. (LTI), designer and manufacturer of the most popular line of laser mapping products, has just announced they have extended their successful ArcPad® LaserGIS Mobile Mapping Challenge until January 31, 2013.

The risk-free challenge is to test out an LTI TruPulse® 360 mapping laser and the LaserGIS® ArcPad® extension.  Interest in this Mobile Mapping Challenge has been extremely high, starting with 500 registrants for the introductory webcast.  The recorded webcast explains how the challenge works, who is already using the technology, and the available special opportunity and discounts. It also explains how to access free training videos and how you can receive a field-proof quick reference guide to give you more confidence in mobile laser mapping.

Implementing and updating an effective GIS program can be a massive undertaking and mobile mapping activities are typically the highest expense and most time consuming part of managing a GIS database.  LTI understands the importance of saving time and money.  That’s why we’re offering a comprehensive solution that delivers better results faster, at a lower cost.

Using a TruPulse 360 mapping laser has a proven track record of expediting the field data collection process with remote GPS offset positioning and measuring additional attribute data such as heights, spans and elevations.  The LaserGIS toolbar extension for ArcPad streamlines the workflow by quickly connecting, activating and fully utilizing LTI’s TruPulse mapping laser. The workflow is very similar to what ArcPad users do now and all the field data collected transfers directly into ArcGIS®.

“This campaign has generated a ton of interest from GIS professionals and we wanted to extend the deadline for those who are interested in trying something that will prove to save time and money and offer an immediate ROI,” explains Paul Adkins, Laser Technology, Inc. Marketing Manager.
Anyone can still participate in LTI’s TruPulse free trial program.  When you experience the value of LTI’s laser mapping technology, and take advantage of special discounts available to participants, the ROI will come that much faster.

LTI invented the first reflectorless, handheld total station 16 years ago and currently has tens-of-thousands of commercial and government TruPulse® customers all over the world. LTI has been the leading innovator for over 25 years and partners with Esri as well as other GIS/GPS-related companies to deliver superior solutions. Owner of over 64 laser- and compass-based patents worldwide, and being the only manufacturer who created a compass laser without tilt or pitch limitations, LTI leads the industry in professional measurement and mapping tools.
Start experiencing the field-to-office synergy now and adopt a better mobile mapping workflow. Take the ArcPad® LaserGIS Challenge today by signing up online.  Start reaping the benefits of saving time and money when collecting field data.
