MapMart Becomes Reseller of DMC International Imaging Limited to offer UK-DMC2 22m Imagery of the World
LONE TREE, Colo., February 26, 2013 – MapMart, a division of IntraSearch, today announced it has become the reseller of DMC International Imaging Limited to offer the UK-DMC2 imagery for end-users in North America. The 22 meter resolution fits nicely into the wide array of satellite offerings from MapMart.
The UK-DMC2 sensor is a highly responsive satellite that rapidly and accurately captures large areas of data at 22 meter resolution using the upgraded SLIM-6 sensor. It offers the Red, Green and Near-Infrared bands (identical to those of LandSat) which make it ideal for a wide range of applications requiring spectral analysis. These applications include simulation, forestry management, land cover creation and analysis, agricultural monitoring and large-scale disaster response and tracking.
