An improved SeaZone HydroSpatial Base with new tile cache and improved tile selection is now available from www.SeaZoneDirect.com. With the updated SeaZone HydroSpatial Base, features such as soundings, restricted areas, lights, navigational buoys, pipelines, cables and many more are now free to view. The tile cache has also been redesigned to show as much information as possible when selecting an area of interest.
As the Dubai data snapshot illustrates (http://tiny.cc/hsbase_dubai), new zoom levels allow users to zoom further in and see even more detail than ever before.
Tile selection is now even easier as well. Users can either select an area of interest using the selection tools, or new for May 2013, they can use a KML file. Simply create an area of interest in KML using GIS desktop software, or even Google Earth, and upload it to www.SeaZoneDirect.com. The tiles that are intersecting the KML file will automatically be selected and all users need to do is click ‘Order Now’.
