LabSat to be exhibited at Telematics Update, Detroit

May 31, 2013 By Editor

LabSat, the GPS Record and Replay system manufactured in the UK by Racelogic Ltd, is to be exhibited at the forthcoming Telematics Update conference in Detroit, starting on 5th June.

LabSat2 capabilities have recently been augmented with the introduction of record and replay for BeiDou, the Chinese satellite constellation which became publicly available late last year. With many GPS device manufacturers looking to enter the Asian market with BeiDou capability, reliable and repeatable testing has become essential.

However, in many parts of the globe the low levels of coverage from BeiDou makes this impossible, so a bench testing solution is required. LabSat2 is supplied with scenarios recorded in China, including signals from the Geostationary satellites that form a part of the constellation. Development can now be carried out without the need to travel to the areas where a full signal can be received.

LabSat2 also has GPS and Glonass capability, and therefore offers a complete testing and validation solution for any business incorporating GPS into their products.

LabSat can be found at stand 15, opposite the Networking Centre, in the Telematics Update exhibition.
