Woolpert Acquires California-based Professional Services Company Kings Canyon Technology

DAYTON, Ohio (June 3, 2013)… Woolpert announced today it has acquired Kings Canyon Technology (KCT), a professional services firm based in Reedley, Calif., focused on delivering permitting, land and licensing solutions. Woolpert, a national infrastructure management, design and geospatial firm headquartered in Dayton, employs approximately 600 professionals throughout its 22 offices.

“The acquisition of KCT fits Woolpert’s overall strategy to expand the comprehensive services and solutions we bring to all our clients. KCT will provide Woolpert with a west coast presence while strengthening the software implementation services we offer to our clients nationwide,” said Mike Flannery, Woolpert president and CEO. “KCT has doubled in size each year for the past two years, and we are excited to support that growth and look forward to bringing added value to KCT’s clients as well as Woolpert’s clients through a mutually beneficial partnership.”

KCT was established in 2003 and has provided permitting and land licensing software implementation services to clients such as the City of Sacramento, Sacramento County, the City of New Orleans and the State of Oregon.
