(July 24, 2013/Camp Hill, Pa.) Brian Rudolph, GISP, a regional office manager for GeoDecisions, an information technology company specializing in geospatial solutions, received a 2013 President’s Innovation Award from Gannett Fleming, the parent company of GeoDecisions. Gannett Fleming’s President’s Innovation Award honors employees who think outside the box to create new approaches and innovations that provide extra value for their clients.
Rudolph’s award-winning development, ElectriMAP®, is a robust, easy-to-use electric utility GIS solution that integrates with other key electric software applications to bring critical utility infrastructure information to one location.
Rudolph developed an early version of ElectriMAP for a small municipality project. Today, through the support of Gannett Fleming, the application has grown to help electric utility professionals model utility assets, spatially maintain network infrastructure, and integrate with electric-based applications. ElectriMAP also works on mobile devices, allowing field crews to perform real-time tasks, such as inventorying assets, performing pole inspections, and redlining data discrepancies.
As an organization that is dedicated to innovation, Gannett Fleming nurtures the collaboration, support, and great ideas that come from its employees to help the ideas grow into valuable products and services that are critical to the success of its clients.
GeoDecisions’ experienced staff of professional consultants, analysts, and developers support clients worldwide. Fundamental to the company’s award-winning approach is the integration of spatial information to empower existing systems and processes. GeoDecisions’ philosophy is based on an enterprisewide approach to the integration of diverse information technologies, data formats, and systems.
